Hyleys Tea Slim Tea, Goji Berry,

Slim Tea Does It Work?

Tea detoxes are all the rage these days, fueled on Instagram and Pinterest. Here's my review on a cheap alternative to popular, pricey brands such as Tiny Tea-Tox.

What is it?
"Helps progressively lose weight by increasing metabolism, which accelerates fat burn and calorie expenditure. Promotes cleansing, detoxification and healthy digestion.Works as a gentle laxative."

Contains:
Green Tea (Camellia senensis)
Senna Leaves (Cassia angustifolias
Natural Goji Berry Flavor

Cost
Purchased for $2.99 at Burlington Coat Factory.
Tiny tea tox goes for around $35.00.

Taste
Fruity, yet a little bit on the sour side. After drinking this a lot, I found I had to mix another flavor of tea bag for the taste. Not the best.

How I used it
I used two teabags a day, and drank it after meals.

Results
The night of, I found myself waking at 5am with MASSIVE stomach cramps. Later that morning after I had gotten out of bed, I had diarrhea for the rest of the day. However did my stomach look flat? Yes. I'm pretty sure all this tea does is act as a laxative, and made me lose 3lbs in water weight. I am sure if I hop on the scale today, the weight will be back!

Do I Recommend? Final Statement

If you are looking for a quick fix to get rid of some bloating and don't mind sitting on the toilet this is for you! In the long run using this will cause dehydration, bowel dysfunction, and weightloss! I will continue to use this product on the weekends after a cheat a day, or if I feel like my bloating is evere.

Review: Trader Joe's Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte Mix

Do you LOVE Starbuck's PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte)? Trader Joe's started offering an instant powdered form of Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte.

At $3.99 for 10oz, this tub makes around 8 servings. All you have to do is add boiling water! It can be served iced as well.

Now the flavor is definitely pumpkin but I'm not sure how well it goes with the chai. I am not a fan of the flavor at all.
The main ingredient is sugar and a serving has a 140 drinkable calories. Horrible nutritional value. There is a couple of grams of protien and fiber but so much sugar it's not worth it.

This stuff also does not dissolve well.  It takes FOREVER to mix in. Also if you wanted to use milk instead of water its even worse. I wish TJ would come out with a pumpkin latte without the chai! I would not repurchase this again, however if you like the flavor then its way cheaper than getting a latte from Starbucks! Plus you can have it all year long.

Product Review: Zico Chocolate Coconut Water

I woke up with an emotion hangover due to personal relationship issues. Literally don't have the stomach for anything. Stopped and picked this up at a convenience store, hoping to replenish my body's nutrients. It's hydrating  and has multiple electrolytes a potassium. Even better dairy and GMO FREE! It looks just like chocolate milk and honestly tastes like a less sweet version of regular chocolate milk! It's a little watered down but man it it the spot!! Chocolate made me feel a little better and all the good nutrients did as well.
